Hi, I'm Levan. Today I start my EVS in Mallorca!

Imatge
Hello everyone! I am Levan Shanidze, a 23-year-old coming from Tbilisi, Georgia. As my flight day comes day-by-day, I’m slowly getting this alert-feeling of being alive. It’s always nice to change environment, get experience for a while, from another culture, language; it's nice to have expectations – all these googled images, maps, tips - low-key obscureness of what it might look like and knowing that when departure day arrives all will be clear. I’m glad I’m having a part in this project. When I first found out EVS and read the project’s description, I thought it might be a full-combo of matching my interests with it. To introduce myself more: my educational background is Philosophy. It’s been more than one year after my BA graduation; after this, because of practical aspects, I have decided to change my profile and worked as a graphic designer. Also, I have a great interest in electronic music production, time-to-time I’m playing live performances at my hometown,

Moi! Anna, from Finland to Mallorca.

¡Saludos, Calvià! I am Anna, a 29-year-old Finn currently preparing my adventure to Mallorca. I live in our beautiful capital Helsinki and work as an archaeologist (yep, it’s almost exactly like in those Indiana Jones movies). I have always wanted to volunteer through EVS and decided to do it now when I had the perfect opportunity! For me, Mallorca offers a great chance to spend some time in an amazing environment, and of course, to improve my Spanish. Nature and all kind of living creatures are very important to me, and most likely one can find me in the streets sweet-talking to some cats and dogs. This is also the reason why I wish to volunteer for environmental projects. I share my home with three guinea pigs and I am sure that I will miss them while I’m away! I hope to meet different kind of people from different backgrounds and learn something from each of them. I can’t wait until I’m in Calvia! - Anna

¡Hola, me llamo William y me mudo a Mallorca!

Imatge
Finalmente, me gusta el DIY ( Do It Yourself , “hazlo tú mismo”) y en general aprender nuevas habilidades.

¡Hola! My presentation on the blog :) Delia

Hello everybody! I just want to take a moment from your time to introduce myself. My name is Delia, I come from a town in the South of Italy, a lovely place halfway from Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Naples. I graduated in Law and I am a journalist. I am a very active person: I like spending my time outdoors meeting new people or being involved in social projects. I was a founder, ideed, of a cultural association in my town where I was in charge of organizing social events, laboratories and workshops. I strongly belive in the motto (stolen from “Into the wild movie”) HAPPINESS IS REAL ONLY WHEN SHARED, because it states two big truths: the first one is that happiness is an essential element in our lives in order to feel good about ourselves and consequently also with other people; the second one is that the sharing is fundamental to understand the real meaning of every single event in our lives and to grow as individuals. On the other hand, sometimes I like also having a
